The new Pepsi-junior league for promising players and one of His Royal Highness Prince Ali Center for promising players”AlWaeidin” will be launched tomorrow –Friday- and will bear the name of the tournament sponsor, "Pepsi Jordan," for the third year in a row, which will be held in all of the Prince Ali centers all over the Kingdom and a total of 24 centers.
The participating teams were distributed into five regional groups (South, North A, North B, the center A, center B). Matches to take place each week on Friday and Saturday, and to qualify for the second round, the first place team in the South group, the first and second teams in the north group, the first and second in the north B group, the first and second in Amman A group, and the first place team in Amman B group.
The tournament includes 66 matches in over 6 weeks. "Pepsi Jordan" chose His Highness Prince Ali centers for juniors championships League due the sponsorship agreement with the Jordan Football Association, and one of the terms of the agreement are these centers from the premise that the promising youth are the future of the nation in general, and that the promising players are the future of football in Jordan. This agreement represents the commitment of Pepsi- Jordan in their commitment in supporting all of sporting activities that is primary an interest to youth, on the basis of its responsibility towards this promising category and offering great care to these players and the opportunity to discover talented players in these centers.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali centers provide players with basic skills of football, and some recreational football competitions, and increase social and educational relations bondings between the centers, the players, coaches, and administrators. Also spreading football culture in all provinces, and offer the right scientific training methods.
This tournament comes as a complement to HRH Prince Ali centers curriculum which is designed to produce the clubs and national teams with talented players.
