Amman: Al Wehdat secured top spot in Group D of the AFC Cup despite being held to a goalless by Al Talaba as they kept their unbeaten record in this seasons competition intact.
Neither side were able to break the deadlock at King Abdullah Stadium in Jordan and were forced to settle for a point apiece.
Al Wehdat now move onto 13 points, six ahead of Kuwait Sports Club who have seven.
Al Talaba, meanwhile, lie third on five points but host Kuwait SC at Francouse Al Hareeri Stadium next week and victory would see them follow Al Wehdat into the knockout stage.
Kuwait SC edged the first meeting 1-0 thanks to Walied Jumahs second-half goal.
