Jordan Women’s National Team head coach Michael Dickey announced a 22-player squad list for the upcoming training camp, which will be held in Thailand, as part of the ongoing preparations for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers in Jordan next April.
The camp will take place in Bangkok from 6-13 December, where the National Team will face Thailand in two friendly matches on December 9th and 12th, in wrap up of the preparations agenda for 2017.
Youngsters Tasneem Abu Rob, Rouzbahan Fraij, and Rand Al Bustanji will miss out on the camp due to highschool final exams, while Sarah Abu Sabbah will not make the trip because of her commitment with Bayer Leverkusen at the Women’s Bundesliga II. Salma Ghazal and Hannah Kousheh are among the absences from the squad as well, with both approaching the end of university semester in the United States, with plans to move to Jordan ahead of the Asian Cup once they’re done.
The team resumed trainings in Amman after returning from Istanbul last week, where they recorded a 2-1 win against hosts Turkey. The last session will be held on Monday December 4, at the Petra Stadium before leaving to Bangkok on December 6.
