Jordan kicked off its AFC U19 Qualifiers with a deserved 2-0 win over Palestine in the match that was held on Saturday, November 4, to go on top of the group, which includes Syria and Iran, after the end of the first round.

The victory was secured in the second half of the game that took place at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, Jordan, with Ibrahim Saadeh (64’) and substitute Mohammed Al Zoubi (81’) on target for the youth national team.

Jordan go on top of group E with 3 points, benefiting from Iran and Syria’s 1-1 draw, which puts them in second and third place, while Palestine remains at the bottom with no points.

The National Team takes on Iran in the second round on Monday, November 6, at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa. While they wrap up their qualifiers campaign by meeting Syria on Wednesday, November 8 at the same venue.
