HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association (JFA), welcomed to Jordan today President of La Liga Javier Tebas and accompanied him to the Zaatari refugee camp in Northern Jordan.
Prince Ali and Tebas attended one of the football workshops organized by the Asian Football Development Project (AFDP), a non-profit youth commission founded and chaired by Prince Ali, which took place at the full size artificial grass football field which was inaugurated in September to benefit Syrian refugees of both genders and all age groups.
During the visit, Tebas announced that La Liga will be sending qualified coaches to the camp to provide high quality training opportunities to the youth of Zaatari.
“I’m grateful for my colleague and friend La Lifa President Javier Tebas for taking the time to visit the camp and for sharing his revered knowledge and expertise with us,” Prince Ali said.
Following Zaatari, JFA board members and staff had the opportunity to meet with La Liga President and delegation to discuss marketing strategies, broadcasting, economic control and licensing.
