Week 14 matches kicked off on Thursday, February 23, with Al Buqaa and Al Hussein’s encounter at the Amman International Stadium as Al Hussein clinched a 2-1 win. On Friday, Sahab recorded a 2-0 win against Al Sarah in the match that was held at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Quwaismeh. Ibrahim Aljwabreh (65’) and Ahmad Jado (84’) scored Sahab’s goals in the second half to earn the 3 points.
In the other match on Friday, Al Faisaly reinforced their chase of the first spot as they managed to beat Mansiet Bani Hasan 2-0 in the match that was held at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa. Al Faisaly opened the scoring in the 51st minute with an own goal by Al Manshieh’s Ahmad Yaser, Lucas secured Al Faisal’s win by scoring the second goal in the 88th minute.
On Saturday, at the Amman International Stadium, Al Wehdat managed to steal a valuable point from leaders Al Jazeera as they managed to equalize in the 90+3 minute of additional time through Monzer Abu Amara from the penalty spot, after Al Jazeera were 1-0 ahead thanks to Mardikian’s opener in the 67th from a penalty as well.
That Ras recorded a 2-1 win against Al Ahli in the match that took place at the King Faisal Stadium in Karak.
