Week 18 saw Al Faisaly split the Al Manaseer Jordanian Pro League forefront with Al Jazeera following their 2-1 win against rivals and defending champions Al Wehdat.

Al Faisaly’s win came in the 18th round’s top match between Al Faisaly and Al Wheat, which was held on Saturday, April 8, at the Amman International Stadium.

Hassan Abdelfattah took the lead for Al Wehdat in the 16th minute, while Lukasz Szymon equalized for Al Faisaly in the last minute of the first half from the penalty spot. With the match nearing its end, Bilal Quwaider snatched the win for Al Faisaly with a well-taken header in the 85th minute.

Al Jazeera were held by Sahab to a goalless draw on Saturday, missing the chance of going at least 2 points at the top. Al Jazeera’s draw put them in first place with 36 points, in goal difference over Al Faisaly in second.

Al Wehdat remain in third with 34 points, followed by Mansheyat Bani Hasan in 33 goals following their 2-0 win against Al Hussein thanks to Nahar Rshoud’s brace in the 24th and 51st minute.

On Friday, Al Ramtha and Al Buqaa settled for a 2-2 draw in the match that was held at the Hassan International Stadium in Irbid. Wesam Daabes (19’) and Mohammed Emleh (22’) scored for Al Buqaa, while Hamzeh Al Dardour (64’) and Ammar Abu Olaiqa (88’) scored Al Ramtha’s goals.

At the Amman International Stadium, Al Sareeh defeated Al Ahli 2-1 with Saddam Sh’habat (25’) and Emanuel (36’) on target for Al Sarah, while Rakan Alkhaldi (70’) scored Al Ahli’s only goal.

Shabab Al Ordon opened week 18 matches on Thursday with a 2-0 win over That Ras thanks to Husam Abu Saadeh (53’) Suleiman Abu Zema (56’) goals.
