Jordan Men’s Senior National Team will meet up with Iraq at the city of Basra for a friendly international on June 1, 2017.
The game which was scheduled to be held in Amman, Jordan previously has been changed following FIFA’s lifting of the ban of Iraqi friendly games on iraqi soil.
Therefore, the friendly international between Iraq and Jordan will be the first match to be held in Iraq after FIFA’s decision. Which Jordan Football Association President Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein has welcomed.
The match comes as part of Jordan’s preparations for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, with another away friendly international to be played against Hong Kong on June 7.
