The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s Women’s Asian Cup (WAC), hosted in Jordan on 6-20 April 2018, met today under the chairmanship of the President of the Jordan Football Association (JFA) HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein to discuss strategic and organizational matters about the tournament.
The LOC board, formed by the Jordan Football Association (JFA) and headed by Prince Ali, reviewed the requirements for hosting followed by making major decisions and recommendations relating to the organizational framework and the finalization of the strategic plan, including the launch of a nationwide promotional campaign for the women’s national team. 
The board members include the Minister of Youth HE Mr. Haditha Khreisha, Minister of Tourism HE Ms. Lina Annab, Deputy Chairman of Amman’s Municipality HE Mr. Hazem Neimat, Gendarmerie Department Assistant Director Brigadier General Walid Qashha, JFA Vice President Mr. Mostafa Al Tabbaa, JFA General Secretary Mr. Sizar Soubar, JFA Chairwoman of Women’s Committee Ms. Rana Al Husseini, Zain CEO Mr. Ahmad Hanandeh, President of Shabab Al-Ordon HE Mr. Saleem Kheir, and Ms. Zayna Al Hamarneh.
