Jordan FA sign collaboration agreement with Japan FA

Jordan Football Association and Japan Football Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed to intensify the football cooperation and strengthen the relations between the two organizations. In Jordanian capital Amman, on Saturday April 21, Jordan FA President HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein and Japan Football Association President Kohzo Tashima penned the memorandum of understating between the two associations, to share expertise in various fields for the next 5 years. Jordan FA President HRH Prince Ali praised Japan Football Association's brilliant vision in football development, through its programs and planning which made Japan one of the leading countries in Asia, and took it further to reach the World Stage level. HRH Prince Ali stated: "We look forward to benefit from Japan's extraordinary expertise, ideas, development programs, and long-term planning, which is yet to be implemented in West Asia." The agreement will help benefit Jordanian Football through collaboration in different areas such as coaching education, refereeing, women's football development, training camps and friendly matches, youth development, grassroots, administration, IT solutions, media, commercial and marketing. On his part, Japan Football Association President Kohzo Tashima hailed Prince Ali's efforts and important role in the development of football within the country and the region. Tashima said: "We would like to congratulate Jordan Football Association on successfully organizing the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup, which follows the successful hosting of the U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup in 2016." He concluded: "Prince Ali played an important role in the development of football, notably for his efforts as FIFA Vice-President representing Asia, by sharing his ideas and vision which helped develop the game and enhance FIFA's image and reputation. As well as his vital role in lifting the women's head-scarf ban." This step comes in Jordan Football Association’s continuous mission to develop its organizational structure, by bolstering its ties with the World’s top and most important sporting and footballing organisations and institutions on the international stage. Jordan FA already signed similar collaboration deals with the Bavarian Football Association, Laliga, and Qatar Football Association.
