Jordan Football Association (JFA), governing body for football in Jordan, and mycujoo, a leading live-streaming football service, announce a partnership for the streaming of live and on-demand football content over the upcoming four years. Under the terms of the agreement disclosed today, the JFA and mycujoo will join forces to live stream more than 700 matches over the course of four years, including matches from the Jordan First Division, Jordan National Teams, Jordan Youth Leagues, Jordan Women’s League and the Jordan Futsal A League, among others. All matches will be available live and on-demand on the mycujoo platform. This agreement furthers a relationship between the JFA and mycujoo that was established through an Asian Football Confederation initiative and positions the JFA as a pioneer in the Asian continent for expanding the streaming of its various contents, providing unprecedented visibility of Jordan football to its fans. Louie Oumeish, head of JFA Marketing Committee and Executive Committee member, expressed JFA’s delight with the signing of the partnership. Omeish said: “This partnership agreement meets the ambitions of JFA in shedding light on youth competitions and focusing on other divisions at the FA such as youth leagues, youth national teams, and women’s football, and helps provide an opportunity for Jordanian fans to view more matches in competitions that are not broadcasted on a frequent basis.” On his part, Pedro Presa, CEO of mycujoo said: “Live streaming is breaking new ground in Jordan and mycujoo is proud to be playing a key role in this.” “This was our vision, together with the AFC, when we started our collaboration in the region - to inspire and emulate live streaming in Asia. The JFA leadership is fully grasping the potential of football live streaming and we are delighted to have earned their trust in this regard. This clearly positions mycujoo as the leader for the digitalization of football in Asia - not just for the high level, but across the whole pyramid in Jordan including youth, women’s, and futsal”. Since mycujoo and AFC agreed to collaborate in 2016, more than 30 Asian countries have started live streaming on the platform, generating close to 20 million video views overall. In Jordan alone, the content streamed on mycujoo by the JFA has generated more than a million views since January 2017. mycujoo offers a football-specific, free-to-use streaming service at the lowest possible access costs, enabling clubs and competitions at any level to seamlessly set up their streams and start reaching new audiences. It allows leagues, clubs as well as local online media to distribute and commercialise the content themselves in partnership with mycujoo, maximising the reach and commercial opportunities in unprecedented way at this level of the game.
